Mackenzie Greene

Club Volleyball

  • Director

  • Head Coach

  • Trainer

Mackenzie began her volleyball journey at Hopewell High School where she was awarded WPIAL gold and silver medals during her own extensive high school career.  She also competed in club volleyball with local teams including Renaissance and Pittsburgh Elite.  During her senior season, she competed at Nationals with Pittsburgh Elite.  She went on to receive a volleyball athletic scholarship to Clarion University as a right-side hitter.

During her years at Clarion University, Mackenzie was a 3 time All PSAC conference player, a 2 time all state nominee, and conference player of the week.  Her junior season she even saw competition in Italy as a member of the USA Athletes International team.  Mackenzie was also a captain of the team her senior year.  At college she began to develop an interest in coaching.  She assisted at Clarion University camps and clinics as well as coached with the Clover volleyball program in Clarion before accepting her first head coaching position at Clarion Limestone.

Coach Greene obtained her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Clarion University and relocated to McDonald, PA.  She balances her current employment with her role as head volleyball coach at Fort Cherry High School and club volleyball coach at SKY ELITE.  In her first season at Fort Cherry, the Lady Rangers had their highest finish in school history.  The team earned WPIAL silver and competed in the state playoffs.  Season two was the first undefeated season for the Lady Rangers.  Unfortunately, the pandemic forced the team to withdraw from the WPIAL finals.  She is excited to build upon a strong foundation at Fort Cherry this upcoming season.
